For example, the decline of traditional record companies is a result of consumers bargain hunting online and downloading music from independent sources. It is also a result of the proliferation of digital formats, which allow for unlimited remix and reinterpretation.
It encompasses many activities, from the clown at your child’s birthday party to the Broadway show to the stadium rock concert, and it can be a source of amusement or a distraction.
